Common questions

Do my friends need to download the app?

No. You send them a link and they open it in any web browser to grab their items and pay you back. The app is just for you, the person who paid.

How does the receipt scan work?

Snap a photo of your receipt and we read the line items, tax, and tip automatically. You can review and edit everything before sending the split — the math is always exact down to the cent.

How do friends pay me back?

They pay using the payment handle you set up in the app. You'll see each payment update in real time as people settle up.

How do I sign in?

Who's Got It uses Sign in with Apple, so there's no separate password to remember. Just tap “Sign in with Apple” on the welcome screen.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings in the app and choose “Delete account.” This removes your profile and disassociates your splits. You can also email us and we'll take care of it.
